Trescott - Cobscook Community Learning Center - 10 Commissary Point Road

The Cobscook Community Learning Center presents An Evening of Conversation and a Reading with Pulitzer Prize winning author Richard Ford, Wednesday, August 8, at the CCLC in Trescott. There will be a reception with the author at 6 pm followed by a lecture and reading at 7:30 pm.

Richard Ford is the first author to receive both the Pulitzer Prize and the PEN/Faulkner Award for his novel Independence Day. Ford lives in Boothbay, Maine, with his wife, Kristina Ford. Ford's latest novel, Canada, was published in May 2012. Tickets for the reception (which also includes admission to the reading) are $25 per person. Tickets for the lecture and reading are $10. The Cobscook Community Learning Center is located at 10 Commissary Point Rd in Trescott. Proceeds from this event will support the completion of Heartwood Lodge on the CCLC campus.
