Trescott - Cobscook Community Learning Center - 10 Commissary Point Road
Create a pack basket, traditionally used while trapping, ice fishing, collecting herbs and plants, and as a pack-basket on canoe trips. This workshop will lead you through creating a complete basket from base supports to pack straps. Please bring: misc. tools such as cutting blade/clippers (e.g., utility knife, straight tin snips, etc.), small spring clamps to hold reed in place, measuring tape, pencil, etc. Please bring lunch, snacks and beverages. For ages 12 & up. Instructors: Nancy and Raymond Reitze. Course fee: $35 to $90 plus required materials fee: $65 must be paid by registration deadline of August 1. Minimum 8/ maximum 12 required to run class.
